Activation Required

Remember, faith is not just a belief; it's a powerful weapon in breaking generational curses. Hebrews 11:6 states that without faith, it is impossible to please God. One must believe in God's power to restore and renew to overcome inherited struggles. Read that again to understand that curses are broken only by God's power. Therefore, we must learn to activate His power through faith.

Practical ways to activate faith include:

• Prayer and Fasting (Matthew 17:21)- Pursuing God with heartfelt sincerity has the power to break every stronghold. With God by our side, nothing is impossible. Prayer is our weapon against the enemy. We fight in the spirit, not flesh and blood.

• Speaking Life (Proverbs 18:21) – Your words have the power to shape your life. By declaring God's promises over your life, you are actively participating in the transformation of your destiny. Your words form your world and create your future. Your freedom and the freedom of your family are voice-activated. Believe it, Say it, See it!

• Building a New Legacy (Joshua 24:15)- Making intentional choices to follow God sets a different trajectory for future generations. You can choose to serve the gods of this world or the true and living God. You are one decision away from the freedom you desire.

My mom placed a plaque with this scripture on the front door of my childhood home. She was establishing authority in our home and letting all who were about to cross the threshold know that her home was one of prayer and service to God. This single act forged a legacy that will not soon be forgotten by our family or community.

Faith is the key to breaking old patterns and living the abundant life God intends. It's a beacon of hope, guiding us toward a future filled with God's blessings.
